CERT-In, Koo, and CyberPeace Foundation Launch Year-Long Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign for Students on July 6, 2022

New Delhi [India], July 9 (ANI/NewsSee): To encourage young people to use technology in a safe and responsible manner, India’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), the Ministry of Electronics and Technology of Information (MeitY), Koo and the CyberPeace Foundation have launched “#CybersKool” initiatives to educate young Indians about cybersecurity. The initiative aims to educate college students and children across India over the next 11 months to make the internet and social media safe, secure and reliable.
#CybersKool will host a series of interactive webinars, panel discussions, workshops and competitions focused on sharing information on ethical online practices, online rights and duties and responsible behavior online. As an inclusive platform to share thoughts and opinions in native languages, Koo will organize interactive activities for students, such as slogan writing and quizzes, to encourage knowledge sharing on online safety. . Alongside the students, other relevant stakeholders such as parents, guardians and faculty should be involved in the activities. The year-long campaign will culminate in the publication of a digital cybersecurity playbook that will carry the lessons of #CybersKool. The manual will be available on the Koo and CyberPeace Foundation website for students to download and read.
