NEW YORK, USA, March 22, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Foundation for Dermatology Research and Education (FRED), a leading provider of dermatology and skin health education for healthcare professionals, welcomes Sonia Schursky, MD as the new Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Schursky will lead FRED’s expansion of its continuing medical education activities in the area of ​​skin health by developing new, innovative educational programs to enhance the dermatology practice of skin health professionals with the goal of improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Schursky has worked in the health education and communication industry since 2003. She began her career at Integrated Communications Corporation focusing on creating promotional programs for several cardiovascular therapies. While later working at Interquest Medical and Scientific Communications, Dr. Schursky served as the agency’s team leader for global educational efforts. Her strategic role focused on developing faculty relationships (KOL) and designing clinically relevant information for healthcare professionals (HCP) across multiple indications.

In 2008, Dr. Schursky joined PeerVoice, part of the PSL business group, where she led the content team and helped create grants and content development for over 600 EMI and CME activities in a variety therapeutic areas for healthcare professionals around the world. She was instrumental in the development and growth of a new PSL company, AiCME, and was instrumental in creating content for grants and activities, developing new processes, and expanding the team of content to meet AiCME’s rapidly growing needs. “His global clinical experience, combined with his experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, will enhance him by bringing exciting new ideas and strategic initiatives to the FRED team,” said the co-Chief Scientists.
