The Liu Foundation is launching the Lively Habits Videos series of short educational videos using social media platforms to educate younger generations about the dangers of contracting chronic diseases from unhealthy habits. Lively Habits videos are on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and highlight the health benefits of practicing the 10 evidence-based lifestyle habits. Watching Lively Habits educational videos and using the Lively Habits app accelerates personal behavior change for a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. The Lively Habits app is a holistic lifestyle education and behavioral conditioning app using a well-known psychology technique – operant conditioning. The Lively Habits app guides users through 10 self-assessment questions. Each question addresses one of ten evidence-based lifestyle habits. The app intends to use simple notation to help individuals remember and follow the 10 lifestyle habits for long-term adherence to a healthy lifestyle.
