New Delhi, April 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat from 18 (today) to 20 April 2022. On April 18 around 6 p.m., the Prime Minister will visit the Schools Command and Control Center in Gandhinagar. On April 19, around 9:40 a.m., he will devote himself to the nation and lay the foundation stone for several development projects at Banas Dairy Sankul in Diyodar, Banaskantha. Thereafter, around 3:30 p.m., he will lay the foundation stone of the WHO World Center for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar. On April 20, around 10:30 a.m., the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Global AYUSH Investment & Innovation Summit in Gandhinagar. Thereafter, at around 3:30 p.m., he will visit the Adijati Maha Sammelan in Dahod and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects, the prime minister’s office said in a statement.

PM at Command and Control Center for Schools:

The Prime Minister will visit Gandhinagar Schools Command and Control Center on April 18 around 6 p.m. The Center collects over 500 crore datasets annually and meaningfully analyzes them using big data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, to improve outcomes overall student learning. The Center helps to track the online daily attendance of teachers and students, to undertake centralized summative and periodic assessments of student learning outcomes, and more. The Command and Control Center for Schools was considered a global best practice by the World Bank, which also invited other countries to visit and learn.

PM at Banas Dairy Sankul in Diyodar, Banaskantha:

The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation a new dairy complex and potato processing plant at Diyodar, Banaskantha district, constructed at a cost of over Rs. 600 crores, on April 19 at around 9:40 a.m. The new dairy complex is an entirely new project. It will process about 30 lakh liters of milk, produce about 80 tons of butter, one lakh liters of ice cream, 20 tons of condensed milk (Khoya) and 6 tons of chocolate per day. The potato processing plant will produce different kinds of processed potato products like French fries, potato chips, aloo tikki, patties, etc., many of which will be exported to other countries. These factories will empower local farmers and boost the region’s rural economy.

The Prime Minister will also dedicate the Banas community radio station to the nation. This community radio station was established to provide farmers with key scientific information related to agriculture and animal husbandry. The radio station is expected to connect with more than 5 lakh farmers from around 1700 villages.

The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the expanded facilities for the production of cheese products and whey powder at the Banas Dairy Factory in Palanpur. Also, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation an organic manure and biogas plant established in Dama, Gujarat.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for four 100-ton capacity Gobar Gas Plants to be established at Khimana, Ratanpura – Bhildi, Radhanpur and Thawar.

WHO World Center for Traditional Medicine:

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine (GCTM) in Jamnagar on April 19 around 3:30 p.m., in the presence of the Prime Minister of Mauritius Mr. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director-General, Organization World Health Organization (WHO). The GCTM will be the first and only global center for traditional medicine in the world.

It will emerge as an international hub for global welfare.

AYUSH Global Investment and Innovation Summit:

The Global AYUSH Investment & Innovation Summit, to be held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister on April 20 at around 10:30 a.m. The Prime Minister of Mauritius and the DG of WHO will also be present on the occasion. The three-day summit will see 5 plenary sessions, 8 panel discussions, 6 workshops and 2 symposia, with around 90 prominent speakers and 100 exhibitors in attendance. The summit will help uncover investment potential and kick-start innovation, research and development, the start-up ecosystem and the wellness industry. It will help bring industry leaders, academics and scholars together and serve as a platform for future collaborations.

PM to Adijati Maha Sammelan, Dahod:

The Prime Minister will visit the Adijati Maha Sammelan in Dahod on April 20 at around 3:30 p.m., where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth around Rs 22,000 crore. The Sammelan is expected to witness the attendance of more than 2 lakh people.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate projects worth more than Rs 1400 crore. It will inaugurate the regional water supply system of the southern region of Dahod district, built on the Narmada River basin, worth about Rs 840 crore. It will meet the water needs of about 280 villages in Dahod district and Devgadh Baria town. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate five Dahod Smart City projects worth around Rs 335 crore. These projects include the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) building, stormwater drainage system, sewerage works, solid waste management system and rainwater harvesting system. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the benefits worth Rs. 120 crores will be provided to 10,000 tribals in Panchmahal and Dahod districts. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate 66 KV Ghodia Substation, Panchayat Houses, Anganwadis among others.
