The Trinity Health Foundation recently received a $25,000 donation for the new Trinity Healthcare Campus and Verendrye Electric Medical District fundraising campaign.

“Community partners such as Verendrye Electric are essential to the success of the fundraising campaign,” said Dusty Zimmerman, director of the Foundation. “Trinity Health is a community-driven business and healthcare provider in the 20-county region that we have served for 100 years. Organizations like Verendrye Electric will give us the ability to serve our community for 100 more years and we are grateful for their continued support.

“The work the people of Trinity do to care for others is essential and Verendrye Electric is happy to help with a donation for the new hospital,” said Verendrye manager Randy Hauck. “This is one of the most significant advances in health care our region has ever seen and we are thrilled to be a part of it.

The Trinity Health Foundation recently launched the Campus HealthCare and Medical District Capital Campaign to raise $15 million to support the $520.5 million project. At the start of the campaign, the Trinity Health Foundation raised $3.4 million. Donations are sought from regional and national foundations, corporate donors, private donors and Trinity Health staff through fundraising.

The Trinity Health Foundation was established in 1922 to help establish Trinity Hospital. For the past 100 years, the foundation has been supported by the financial stewardship of individuals, families, foundations, businesses, civic clubs and other organizations, with the goal of having a meaningful impact on health care and quality of life in the region.
