MEDARVA Foundation Opens Interactive Medical Science Learning Space at Short Pump Town Center

On the list of things that spark universal joy, a wedding is unparalleled. Weddings are a magical moment. They are as unique and personal as the happy couple. Pop of Confetti wants to help brides celebrate the magic of the moment with the ultimate bridal experience. That’s why the craft market open all year round Confetti pop released her own bridal collection called “The pop bride.”

The curated collection includes a variety of handmade items from its collective of over 20 artisans, many of which can be personalized, including hand-painted wedding invitations, preserved bridal bouquets, embroidered dresses and engraved cutting boards. The brand’s new integrated wedding concept will be available in-store and online.

“No matter where brides are getting married or throwing a bachelorette party, they can infuse local love into their celebrations,” said Pop of Confetti owner Allison Smith-Mackey, MBA. “I’m so excited to help brides achieve their big, bold wedding dreams with custom pieces from our creative community of local artisans.”

The Pop Bride Collection also includes a curated collection of bridal clutches, bridal party straws, bridal party earrings, disco ball cups, and more. Plus, brides can unlock exclusive wedding deals with local businesses: Cirrus Vodka, JC Desserts, nudeFX spray tan, Chelsea Schmidt Photography, DJ Anthony Bryan, Boka Tako, Richmond Flower Truck and Society 11:11 Hair & Makeup .

When a bride or loved one signs up for the Pop Bride mailing list, they will receive special discount codes. Brides can also host bridal showers and in-store bachelorette parties at 3422 West Cary Street, complete with cupcakes, champagne and shopping offers. Pop of Confetti is a photo and event destination in its own right with a confetti bar, rainbow staircase and photo wall adorned with shimmering colorful tulle, all created by owner Smith-Mackey.

“Inviting business partners and local friends helps us achieve our larger goal of uplifting the community,” Smith-Mackey says. “It’s a bonus that it will make things easier for our Pop Brides.”

Smith-Mackey is the brilliant personality who founded the Pop of Confetti brand. She’s an artist on a mission to uplift other artists and small business owners, recently honored with the Richmond Region Tourism ‘Rising Star’ award. Pop of Confetti has long-term partnerships with non-profit organizations Celebrate RVA and girls for a change. The two Richmond-based nonprofits receive 5% of all online purchases made with Pop. Plus, Pop of Confetti customers can add $1 to their cart to support either or both nonprofits. Pop’s nonprofit partners enjoy additional fundraising opportunities through its hosted events.
